Some Quotes

NOTE: Let it be known that the **=s are replacing the names of certain individuals because a certain female individual has written us letters threatening that if we used her name on this website, we will be SUED by her AGAIN! Therefore, her full name may be found in the court case.

Over the years, many people have researched our publications, looking for some main statements of beliefs. This will make the job easier, and more accurate. Feel free to use quotes if you use them in entirety and in context. Nobody likes their words to be hacked up!

In reference to our history, the Generals state:

"We delight in sharing our background testimony to others in the hope that souls will be reached with Christ's saving grace. We base this Gospel off of the Biblical principle in Acts 5:30-32 that says, >The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Him hath God exalted with His right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are His witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey Him."

When asked about what the obviously notable difference in how they used to live compared to now, the Generals state:

AWe consider ourselves before Christ, as Paul was in 1st Tim 1:9-14,"Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus". We were such as Paul stated "ungodly and a sinner, contrary to sound doctrine". And we, indeed, "thank Christ Jesus our Lord who hath enabled us and counted us faithful, putting us into His ministry.@

In reference to their time with the Salvation Army, the Generals state:

AWe were instantly attracted to many principles that the facility held, including rank, military structure, and compassion on the wretched. We consider these principles to line up with the Biblical principles about >Fighting the good fight of faith' and >enduring hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ' such as in 1st Timothy and 2nd Timothy.@

In reference to why they left the Salvation Army, the Generals state:

"After this time with the Salvation Army, God was calling us to a more dedicated walk with Him. So that's when we entered into the prayer closet and sought for His plan and purpose for our lives".

The Generals state the reason they started a Christian community,

"It is based on multiple biblical principles and numerous spoken Words God gave us".

We worked with many people in Sacramento. One person we helped states,

AI was living in a life of darkness and depression, in all manner of sin and vileness as well. Even though I had a pretty normal Christian upbringing, I was so confused in my polluted, deluded mind about who I was and what I could do with my life. I had no idea, so I attempted suicide multiple times to end the misery. However, since it didn't work, I was just hoping something good would come along, and boy did it! I first heard about Free Love Ministries from a friend and asked them to send me some literature. I visited the ministry and knew God called me to join. Now I am a healthy, happy, and active member for God's Kingdom. I've now prayed with many souls for salvation and am steady and secure in my mission in life; it is to serve the Lord!@

In reference to the lawsuit, the ACMTC ministry states:

AThe slanderous lies and persecution generated against us are expected, just as the Lord said in John 15:20 "Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.@

The ACMTC ministry states some excluded facts about the case,

ADuring this time she also held a job receiving wages for her work, traveled on city transit services, and had access to shopping, restaurants etc., which she wrote about in numerous dated letters. Also, she was sent home to her father and mother's home with her son. She then returned back homeless threatening to walk the streets with her young son in a shopping cart if she was not received. It was through mercy that she was taken back in. There are lots of other facts about her testimony, letters, confessions, and articles, that can be found on our website under the >Px2 files=.@

Regarding the court case, the ministry states:

"God told us to not go, so we didn't go. Just as the Bible says in 1Corinthians 6:7 in the Amplified Bible, >Why, the very fact of your having lawsuits with one another at all is a defect (a defeat, an evidence of positive moral loss for you). Why not rather let yourselves suffer wrong and be deprived of what is your due? Why not rather be cheated (defrauded and robbed)?'"

A current ACMTC member, in reference to the numerous Acult@ accusations made against the ministry states:

AI've been with the ministry now for about 10 years now, and what I've seen is that the reason that some people don't like the ACMTC ministry, is because they think it's a cult. They just get a hold of some hear-say comment, run with it, and want to start this huge witch-hunt. They don't fully understand that we are Christians, not some weirdo-nuts that are going to kill ourselves! Most people just think it's really strange that Christians would live together, even though it does say in the book of Acts, (4:32) how "the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common". We believe the Bible, and it tells us of a purpose for Christians to evangelize the world, so that is what we are trying to do; not take people and hold them captive or anything dumb like that. Schm***** just wanted money. We are up to something, but it is Aggressive Evangelism!@

In reference to the question, AIf ACMTC isn't a dangerous cult, and was innocent, why didn't the ministry contend with Ma**a Schm***** in court?" The ministry answers:

AFirst of all, whether or not the Generals went to court is not the issue. The issue is that Ma***'s conflicting allegations were never substantiated by law enforcement authorities, psychologists, medical doctors, or anyone else. She was never investigated by any of the above agencies. The only >crime' committed was having a different belief system than she did. However, we do not deny being the cult of the Living God. But, we do deny doing anything that is not Biblical.@

In reference regarding the abduction performed by Schm*****and Ri** Ro**, to Brad while he was at the ministry, a current member of the ministry states:

ASome people came to see him and we didn't know what happened to him after that! We were extremely concerned because it wasn't clear if he was just visiting with them somewhere else, he decided to move out, or he was truly in physical danger--which appeared to be the case. He called from the bus station a few days later and asked us to pick him up because he had been abducted!

He told me that (Ma**a) Schm*****, Ri** Ro**, and even three members of his own family physically abducted him while he was at ACMTC, took him to the nearest hotel, and stood in front of the room door like a guard not letting him leave. They started intensive brainwashing sessions against his will. When he was trying to leave they grabbed his arm and told him he couldn't go yet, but he finally escaped. Schm***** is responsible for this wickedness. People should not be treated like that. Why can't someone believe as they want to? There is no reason to "deprogram" someone whose beliefs are only to help people out.@

After the incident with the abduction, the ACMTC ministry stated,

ADespite the horrendous actions Schm*****, Ross and gang inflicted upon one of our members, after abducting them, we are still deciding to go about with the Biblical pattern of turning the other cheek. In the 80's Schm***** literally lied and stole our facilities, leaving us penniless and homeless. So, even though the member was stripped of every constitutional right in the books, the truth of it is, we are used to such immoral activities by these people who are intent on destroying us. We refuse to press charges now, and will leave the matter in our heavenly Father's hands for justice, for in time, He always has victory for His true people.@

One person the ministry helped states:

AI knew that our ministry's leaders had held a godly standard for years, serving many, many people and never asking anything in return. I knew that they had helped people who were messed-up, wandering oddballs by taking them in and feeding them, cleaning them up and leading them to the Lord Jesus. I could testify personally of this because I had been one of them! I could personally testify about their Christ-like love.@

In reference to Islam, the ministry states:

We believes, such as the Bible states in John 14:6"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me". Because of this Biblical belief, we also stand strongly against the Muslim's violent nature and beliefs in the Quran about abducting and murder. However, even though we also stand strong against the violent nature of the Quran, we do believe that the best remedy for all Muslims is to experience the love of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, as so many already have. It is just like on the Answering Islam website where we hear dozens and dozens of testimonies (http://www.answering-islam.org/testimonies/index.htm)

In reference to homosexuality, the ministry states:

"All such persons must completely forsake that type of lifestyle to be a Bible-believing Christian (1 Corinthians 6:9; Revelations 21:21-22:15). Now, even many churches are accepting homosexuals, just as the Bible declares, >godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only sovereign Lord',(Jude 1:4, NIV)".
